Our Childcare Centres

At Co Kids we have incorporated elements of the Emmi Pikler and RIE theories into developing a teaching philosophy based on respectful education and care practices. We provide infants and young children with environments that support innovative, and creative exploration.  A high standard of care ensures a sense of wellbeing and belonging, essential to foster dispositions within children’s play.An inquiry-based learning where questions, problems and scenarios are posed during the process of play lends favourably towards the development of inquisitive, curious, motivated, capable young children as they venture on their educational journey to primary school.

Lincoln Road, Auckland

This magnificent centre, licenced for 98 children, and located in Henderson, Auckland opened in 2016. The spaces are separated into two rooms, with a state-of-the-art kitchen dividing the two areas. Co Kids, Lincoln Road is the first early childhood centre in West Auckland to provide a sugar free menu. All meals are prepared fresh daily by an on onsite cook.

The under 3 room has different spaces, including a beautifully landscaped outdoor space, that offers a peaceful environment for the young children.  The care moments are at the heart of infant and toddlers’ learning and development.  We are passionate about providing a safe, respectful and emotionally nurturing environment for our young children.  The Pre-School space offers all areas of the curriculum; a large, challenging outdoor area that lends favourably to an inquiry based approach. 

We continue to be passionate about encouraging, and providing an environment that is rich with opportunities for children to learn and develop with their interests.  The resources offer an abundance of open ended play experiences, providing them with challenges that will build strong cognitive, physical and emotional capabilities.

Moorhouse Ave, Christchurch

Our newest centre opened in 2017. Located in Moorhouse Avenue, Christchurch the centre will be licenced for 75 children. Co Kids are excited to be back in Christchurch developing another beautiful purpose built centre. The centre will follow our signature layout with two age-specific areas and a state-of-the-art kitchen for our on site chef. The spaces will offer unique play areas with natural textures and a peaceful environment designed to support and facilitate children’s learning and development.
